The Femtech Clinician Certificate is a first-of-its-kind program designed to equip clinicians and healthcare professionals (including non-MDs) with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead in the rapidly growing field of women’s health innovation. Whether you’re looking to advise startups or integrate femtech into your own clinical practice, this course provides the essential tools to stay at the forefront of modern, patient-centered care.

The Femtech Clinician Certificate is available virtually, with spots for the next cohort opening June 2025. The course is designed to be completed at your own pace over 8 weeks. All materials are available on-demand.

We’re happy to provide this training in person over 1-2 days and to tailor it to your organization’s specific needs. If you’re an accredited CME provider, we’ll work with you to help obtain CME credits for your healthcare professionals (please note that the program is currently not approved for CME credits).
Program Overview
The virtual Femtech Clinician Certificate is an 8-week, self-paced course. This comprehensive program, originally developed by Dr. Kate Arnold, MD, MBA, covers everything from foundational industry insights to the practical steps clinicians can take to integrate femtech into patient care or support innovation more broadly. Participants will explore topics such as:
- The evolution and goals of the femtech industry
- The current femtech landscape, investment trends, and key ethical considerations
- The startup lifecycle, including common pitfalls and success strategies
- Pathways for healthcare professionals to engage with and shape femtech innovation
- Addressing racism, health inequities, and implicit bias in medicine and technology
- Navigating artificial intelligence in digital health solutions
- Translating femtech-generated data into clinically actionable insights
- Evaluating the accuracy of femtech products to ensure patient safety
- Guiding and educating patients on the safe and effective use of femtech tools
Cost
The full cost of the virtual Femtech Clinician Certificate is $999. A non-refundable $500 deposit it required to secure your seat prior to June 23, 2025. The remaining balance of $499 is due on June 23, 2025. All costs are non-refundable once the program starts.
